Doctoral Studies

PhD studies represent the most advanced level of training in plant pathology. PhD students conduct original, independent research projects within the field of plant pathology that are expected to lead to significant advances in our state of knowledge. A typical course of PhD studies and research will last from 3-5 years.

It is expected that the PhD student will publish several papers in international peer-reviewed journals during the course of their PhD studies. At the end of the PhD studies, the student will write a dissertation that summarizes their achievements.

Students from any discipline can enroll in a course of PhD studies, with permission of the Professor.
